I don't think this is a race issue. Bonds has never been a loveable character. The media and him don't get along. Personnally, both guys are ok to me. Bonds was an unsigned free agent coming into this season, it's amazing the Giants even signed him, yet Giambi's contract could be voided soon. Just because a player who just so happens to be an African-American is catching a lot of flak, does not mean that MLB is racist against "black people."
