Will Pujols get back into his groove before the All-Star break?
Question:What's his problem right now? He's been amazing for the past couple years, and then he just starts to blow. What's wrong?

Should have the brewers kept Lyle Overbay???
The Albert Pujols of old will be back soon. The past couple of years the Cards lineup has been one of the best in the NL, but with everyone around Pujols struggling, its easier to focus on just getting him out, rather then walking him. Pujols also plays in a division not known for complete pitching dominance, he only has to deal with maybe one ace pitcher per team? Oswalt(Hou), Hill(Chi), Arroyo(Cin), Snell(Pit), Sheets(Mil).I agree that the Cards as a team are in a bit of a hangover, and then on top of that they lost Hancock. Going through that alone could wear a team down completely, but I can see them getting it together.
Who signed the new mets guy : Carlos Gomez?
Well, it's still fairly early in the season, but I certainly hope he gets back on track sometime soon. I need him to anchor my fantasy team! Why do people accuse the yankees of buying championships?
You see this in a lot of sports. Championship teams oftentimes have "hangovers" (2007 St. Louis Cardinals, 2006 Steelers). Possibly it's because of complacency or over-inflated self-esteem.However, the entire team is in a funk. Judging by Pujols' numbers in the past, he will surely return to form before the All-Star break. You don't see players like him go from MVP candidate to scrub in one year, it just doesn't happen.
So don't worry, yet. I think Pujols and the Cardinals will snap out of their "funk" before the end of June.
