Can anyone in the A.L deal with Boston and New York?
Question:It seems that eveyone just puss's out when they play the Yankees and the Sox just mow everyone down with their pitching. Why not just fast forward to the A.L.C.S right now and save everyone the agravation?

Whose Going To Win The World Series?
exactly.no one can keep the yankees hitting quiet and rough up the sox pitching.if you think that there is any rotation other than the sox capable of dealing with the yanks murders row and vice versa you are mistaken.Who won gold gloves for the AL outfield for 2001-06?
You are in for a surprise my friend...The Toronto Blue Jayswill be either the East winner or at worst a wild card team
from this division.
Their off season aquisitions will help this team, and like all
AL teams, one more starter will be about all they need.
Look out,,,you read it here first.
Is it safe to play baseball with mono?
Blue Jays. Check it out. They aren't too bad.Is anyone having difficulties tuning into FOX to watch the Yankees game today?
That's funny considering the Sox finished 3rd last year.Who was the part of the starting line up for the 2002 angels during the world series?
no not this year the blue jays had a chance last year before they plumentedI actually think if the Devel Rays keeps there major league prepetory minor league roster intact or sign a big name they may be able to beat both the yankees in red sox in 2009
that the closest anyone will come close to the Yankees/ Red Sox
Not sure if the 3rd place Sox will make the playoffs this year. Maybe next year.
Baseball announcers, opinion question?
It seems like everyone pusses out when they play the Yankees? Then how do you explain the fact that the Orioles took 2 of 3 against them in NY all ready? Secondly, maybe teams aren't throwing up the white flag against the Yankees, perhaps they are just simply getting beaten. And for the record, NOTHING is decided in April. There's a reason why they play the game on the feild. For all the media hype that the Yankees and Red Sox get year in and year out, over the last couple of seasons, there have been other teams playing in the ALCS. LA Angels of Anahiem vs. Chicago White Sox, and then Oakland Athletics vs. Detroit Tigers.
I bring up the past because if it indicates anything, it says that you can't always bank on where teams will end up based on how they start in April. As the old saying goes, baseball is a marathon, not a sprint. Remember at one point last season Minnesota was under .500 and Detroit was running away and hiding with the AL central division lead. Minnesota won the AL central on the last day of the season.
Also, this isn't by far the first time in any bit of recent history where they have started off on a role with SOMEBODY in their line-up tearing it up. How well have the Yankees faired in the post-season recently however? It seems to me that they have more to prove than just looking good early, that is by far nothing new for them.
Yes no doubt they are both very good teams... but, why is it that they are not in the best division?
Here in the East, theirs New York Yanks, and Boston Red Sox... but how do they compare against Detroit Tigers, Minnesota Twins, Cleveland Indians, and Chicago White Sox?
There not the only teams that other teams puss out against.
Anyone know why the Pittsburgh Pirates radio and tv announcers...?
Toronto always gives the Red Sox trouble during the season, so they can deal with them. And Baltimore sometimes can give the Yankees a run for there money, so yes some times can deal with Boston and New YorkBTW, I wouldn't go as far as saying that Toronto will win the AL East, the wild card might be possibility but you'd have to hope that you record is better then the second best team in the AL Central or East
I know its early but, is the NL Central Division standings currently upside down?
Cleveland and Detroit is all I have to say.Who wins the cy young in american league this year?
Funny you say that because Detroit knocked them off last year. The Minnesota Twins have so much young talent that this year even though they went 1-2 against the Yanks already they will be ready to play.
ON THE EAST COAST ARE THERE ANY MLB GAMES CURRENTLY GOING ON...WHAT CHANNEl?
NOBoston and Toronto will have to battle it out for second place. May the best team prevail.
Hopefully that team will be better than the second place team in the central.
Why do u think Jason Giambi was taking steroids in the first place?
Well, Tampa Bay is poison for the Yankees. As a Red Sox fan, I pay special attention to when the Yanks lose and to whom. Tampa Seems to have their number written in their heads and inside their eye lids to see. What is the key to A-Rod's latest success?
Detroit went to the world series last year and only got better by getting one of NY's big bats (Gary Sheffeild) So I would say they have a chance. Plus Ny has no pitching.National League vs. American League? Which league is the best?
Considering Boston finished 3rd last year you'd think this question would be coming from a Blue Jays fans. There's a lot of season left maybe Boston will squeak out Toronto for 2nd this year.
Why did the red sox wear green last night?
Well we finally agree on something! I couldn't have said it better myself! BRAVO! :)Who won the world series in 1957?
ya lol...but they dont ALWAYS make the world seriesWill the braves rebound and win the division this year?
I have to disagree with you. The AL is going to be tight this season. I don't think there will be anyone running away in the standings. Detroit, Minnesota and Cleveland will give the Yanks and Sox some good series this year.Should Major League Baseball expand the playoffs to 8 teams or keep it the way it is?
the angels or tigers could whoop 'emDidnt mike schmidt of the phillies hit five home runs in one game, an extra inning? game?
Chi-town White Sox! yeahh boyy. Buehrle with a no-hitter last night! That's what'll bring us all the way. and J.D's clutch hitting! and J. Thome's consistancy with hitting, and Joe Crede, and Paul Konerko's defense.HELP ME IM dumB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In the AL East alone, Toronto and Tampa consistently rock Boston and NY.Tampa doesn't really rock anyone else since they can't hang on to any of their plethora of amazing young talent, but Toronto certainly has a chance to take the division this year.
It looks like it'll be a slugfest between Boston, Toronto, and NY this year.
Would this be better for Major League Baseball? Looks more even, doesn't it?
I LOVE THE BOSTON RED SOCKS!!!!THEY ROCK!
~you should love them too!
