Cantu to mets?

Question:what does everyone think if the mets went after cantu in a trade? he's still young, with good pop, and can eventually take over for valentin. what do you think?

I dont think so. I dont think they really need him. I really wish Anderson Hernandez could hit because he's really good in the field. I was hoping the Mets would have went after Adam Kennedy in the offseason. I dont think Cantu is the answer there.

More offense is not a critical need for the Mets. Jose Valentin did a fine job last season and his defense is solid.
