Question:Ok so my brother traveled to nyc and before he left he bought Yankeey tickets to yesterday's which was canceled and the same pitchers are pitching again can he just go to todays game. i don't really like the yankees he doesn't either he just wanted to see yankeeys stadium ok

If it turns out your brother wont be in NYC during the makeup date then I believe he can exchange the tickets for another game when he might be there. In any case calling the Yankees ticket office is the best bet for what he should do.

Nope,Yesterday's rainout will be scheduled for another day later in the season. I suggest that he go to the stadium early today and see if he can trade those tickets for today's game. If not, he can buy tickets for tonight's game ( should be some open seats, it is only against the Devil Rays) and maybe sell yesterday tickets on ebay or any other sports ticket agent.
