I say in 10 year the record books read1. Barry Bonds 814
2. Alex Rod. 765
3. Hank Aaron 755
4. Babe Ruth 714
5. Willie Mays 660
Pujols witl finish around low 500's (maybe tie mcgwire)
Ryan howard wont get 500
Greatest hitter?; Williams, Ruth, Cobb, or who else?
I'm not sure. I'm not a fortune teller, but I can tell you the obvious. Arod is going to lead them in homeruns, because he's amazing. GO YANKEES!Has there ever been an MLB pitcher who could pitch either left- or right-handed?
All three definitely can eclipse Barry Bonds record, because he is going to have it before the end of the season. So many things can happen though to prevent them from getting there. Ken Griffey Jr. was the original Barry Bonds (in terms of who was thought to have a change to break the record, not on the steroids thing), but he has gotten hurt so much in the last few years that he has no chance. Based on age, durability and number of HR's so far, A-Rod has the best chance. Pujols is the best pure hitter in baseball right now. Howard, to early to tell. We have to see whether or not his 52 HR's was an aberration because pitchers did not knew how to pitch him or he is the real thing.Who is going to win the AL Central in 2007?
A-Rod will probably hit around 800 home runs, I say Pujols will hit around 650-700. He is older and has had more injury problems than A-Rod, most notably his oblique last year. As for Howard, I think he puts up around 700 at least, and m,ay even approach A-Rod at 800, but they play in 2 different leagues with 2 different styles of play.arod is gonna reach 500 n even more pujols will proably do the same casue he hits like 40 or more hrs every year i am not sure about howard though
Who is the team to beat in the NL East? The NL overall?
I think that A-rod has the most legitamate chance of breaking the home run record. He is still fairly young and in his prime. If he keeps belting out homers like he is now he will reach at least 750. I think Pujols will get about 625 homers. I dont think that he will go forever because he is fairly injury prone. Ryan Howard will hit 400 home runs. Im going to go out on a limb and say he was somewhat of a fluke. I predicted a slow season for him back in february. He is not as good as last seasons stats show. Can someone give me advice on how to make my fantasy team better?
I'll say maybe 500 club for Pujols and Howard for now. Still lots of time for injuries and to see if Howard will hit a ton consistently. ARod will hit a ton, but to piss off the people that hate Bonds so much, I'll say ARod will not pass Bonds. So they'll have to live with Bonds being the all time homerun hitter for a while longer. Although the way he's killing the ball lately, he may blow right by Bonds and people will get their reason to forget about Bonds.this is what its gonna look like in ten years from now
1. A-Rod-835
2.Barry Bonds-770
3.Hank Aaron-755
4.Albert Pujols-730
5.Babe Ruth-714
Ryan Howard will only hit like 500 home runs at the most
