Will the Red Sox/Mariners game be rained/snowed out?
Question:We're currently in Middle New Hampshire, about 3 hours from Fenway. We have tickets to see the game on 4/12, but there is going to be a huge snow storm tomorrow morning throughout the day here.
Do we have to go all the way to Boston to find out whether the game is canceled or will it be announced early on Thursday? I'd hate to drive though storm to find out the game has been canceled once we arrive, but at the same time I'd hate to be sitting at home, thinking the game is canceled and finding out it isn't. If it is canceled, when would the make-up game be? Thanks!

Without a doubt call the box office before you leave. We have a game to go to on Sunday and they're calling for rain. I'm on Long Island and have to travel up there just in case because if they decide to put it off for a day, my tickets will only be good for that new game and I can't take a chance and lose them! The weather forecasters seem to think that the game will be rained out..However, I don't think I would totally rely on them..lol..I live in Taunton MA and it hasnt even started raining here yet and it is just about 10 am...I would call the box office right before you have to leave and check it out..If it does get rained out and you are already in Boston,you could go to Quincy Market or some place equally cool and have a good time anyway!!Why isn't Miguel Tejada playin well?
