Question about steroid use in baseball.?
Question:I guess this question could be asked for just about any sport, but I chose baseball because it is a stat-crazy sport. Do you think, now that steroid use is so prevalent, that two different sets of stats should be kept? One set for non-steroid users and the second set for steroid using players. It is my opinion that players that use steroids should not be included in races for homerun titles, batting average titles, etc. Do you agree or disagree? I believe that it (steroid use) is a form of cheating. Why should players who chose to play clean and work hard lose out on the chance of a title to someone who thinks that they can get there faster by juicing? I don't think that Babe, Lou and so many others had access to steroids, they played with pure talent. Please only serious answers.

Why did San Francisco get the All-Star Game in 2007?
I definitely agree cuz taking steroids is like cheating. People don't get the whole "performance enhancing" term associated with steroids. I feel that taking steroids is worse than betting on your own team: i.e. Pete Rose. They're trying to keep Pete out of the Hall of Fame, so why wouldn't they discriminate against steroid users. It will be a sad day for baseball if Barry Bonds breaks Hank Aaron's homerun record. Depending on how MLB acts if he does break it, I may just boycott baseball for the rest of my life. How can you celebrate a cheater? There should be two sets of stats, or at least put an asterisk after their names.Do you think the White Sox have what it takes to win the 2007 World Series?
I think that positive testing steroid users should have their achievements erased. Barry Bonds has never had positive test results for steroids so he does not count as a cheater. A-Rod is just talented and Ryan Howard is just a big kid that can hit the long ball.If anyone here can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Barry Bonds received a positive steroid test result, I'd like to see it. I'd like to believe that the HR hitters of our past did not have a bit of "fire water" when partying to get their heart rate going for performance, but the proof is there from historical reports and I can say that much because I've read about it.
For the less intelligent people here that still insist that Barry Bonds took steroids, I feel sorry for you because you believe anything the media says like the pied piper leading rats off a cliff. I think it's jealousy because your teams do not have any player with over 700 lifetime HR's. Also, having no education is probably why you are picking on an innocent person and calling him names. He does not care and we in SF do not care about the ignorant. He'll break the record, no matter who's watching or caring.
I agree 110% with you on this statement.
What do other M.L.B. players do during batting practice when not taking batting practice?
Ok everything in sports always has to do with seriods and who uses them. There is a t.v. show called Numbers. Try to watch the episode when a guy makes a math formula for who uses steroids. If this formula were to actually work players like Mcguire wouldnt have to act stupid infron of the grand council. And no two seperate stats should not be used. Everyplayer should be required to take the test everday and if you take steroids you can banned for life. And Bonds should not have the HR record. The title belongs to Roger Maris or Ruth. Ruth played the game before the steroid era and played on hotdogs and beer.More Questions & Answers...
