Try to wet just the part that wraps around your head and then throw it in the dryer. Do your best to not immerse the entire thing.
Soak it in hot water then hang it outside and let it dry. If you put it in the washing machine or dish washer you'll ruin the brim.

they make a hat washer that only cost a few bucks at walmart that will preserve the shape but only downfall is it does shrink during the process which would be a upside for you. the hat washer is a piece of plastic that fits on the inside and the outside of the cap and bill and locks into place then you just wash and dry. dont ruin bill. Another trick is if it is just alittle small take a sheet of paper and fold it to same width as band and put it inside the hat between the band and the rest of the hat.More Questions & Answers...
