I'd like to see Barry Bonds hit a "clean" 74 home runs instead. No one will ever prove Barry Bonds has ever taken steroids, because no positive tests have been revealed. Not sure what everyone's hang up is with Barry, except for jealousy. Nobody else on other teams has hit as many HR's and can't even come close.Barry does not have much power because most of his HR's don't even reach 500 ft. unlike people that had positive steroid tests like Sammy Sosa, Mark McGwire and Jose Canseco. His thing is just exceptional bat speed, a good batters eye and that allows him to clobber the ball.
I like A-Rod as well, but he will have his chance to beat Barry Bond's all time HR record in the future.

Forget about 74. I'd rather him pass Bonds on the all time list since it looks like Hank Aaron's record will fall in the next couple of months.As long as the MLB doesn't take blood tests from players to detect HGH it still wouldn't be a "clean" 74.
