Best Hitting Pitcher of Alltime?
I've been to Comisky- US Celluar- twice. As long as you ride the red line and get into and out of town around the time of the game, it's in a great location. Only four or five stops from downtown where anyone visiting Chicago would want to be anyway. The locals might not be thrilled, and certainly no one is making the effort to recreate Wrigleyville down there, but a nice place to see a game. Can't speak for Cubs fans who would go there for a game vs. the Sox. Thought the Sox fans were pretty friendly- though not local to that neighborhood.
cellular helped pay for the park. But you are right....it is in the getto....dont go wrong way when leaving park....especially if you are wearing cubs gear...lol It is a very very beautiful stadium though.
Are there any pitchers who throw only an occasional knuckle-ball?
For the same reson they made wrigley field in the gay part of town (not that theres anything wrong with that)...Because the originals were built in the early 1900's.
BTW I live in a 300K condo half a mile from the cell (bet you wish you could afford to live in my ghetto)
Ken Griffy Jr. Autograph Card?
The area is not that bad anymore. They have added many condos around the area as someone already mentioned. In 13/14 yr. old baseball, with runners on base, how does a right handed pitcher go to first base?
they built it right next to the old Comiskey Park, and it was there for 80 years before that...people just knew where it was
Will you cheer for Bonds when he breaks the record?
