How amazing is it that the Cleveland Indians sold 20k tickets playing their "home" game in Milwaukee?
Question:Is this good for baseball? Tickets were only $10, but selling out half of a random stadium is just insane to me. Are people supporting the Indians because of the current sitsuation?

Does putting a brace over your elbow help after pitching if you experience pain?
Part of it is the novelty of it and part of it is the cost. For only 10$, you can go watch two good teams play, teams you would only get a chance to see during inter-league play, teams that are not your home team. Great deal. Great for baseball. I thought the turnout would be fair, but not nearly 20k, considering it is the middle of the week.~ Go Tribe!
i think its kinda awesome..i mean people prolly came cuz there team is out of town also.plus cleveland an milwaukee is not too far away..indians fans can get to chicago easily enough for games.its not that far from chicago to milwaukee
What hall of famer has grounded into the most double plays in MLB history?
It says a lot about Milwaukee. Cleveland is 340 miles away, so it's not likely that anyone made the drive. I imagine some people flew, plus some people probably flew from Anaheim (excuse me, LA) since it's a weird situation, but most of the crowd had to be local. It can't hurt that Brewers fans have to be excited about their chances, but you have to admit that it's a pretty cool place that gets that many people to a game that has no bearing on the home town team. How long will Mark Mulder be on the DL?
It shows that there are alot of die-hard Cleveland fans that made the trip and alot of overall baseball fans in Milwaukee, it was pretty cool that they did all the things the home team would normally get like the organ tunes and Slider sliding down like Bernie Brewer, pretty cool.In mlb baseball what is a fielder's choice?
I think its because of the ticket prices, Hell i'de go!Who Is A Better Closer - Rivera or Hoffman?
And how many of those 20k tickets belong to season ticket holders IN CLEVELAND?Attendance, as measured by tickets sold, is included in every box score. Last night's total ticket sales were 19,031. But again, that's total tickets sold, and those season's ticket holders, as well as any other tickets that had already been sold for that game, to be played in Cleveland, are counted as part of that total.
Joe Dimaggio or Willie Mays which would you want on your team?
How hard is it to understand - $10.00 - sit where you want. So you give cheap baseball with great seats - people will come.Especially to see two top teams of the AL.
Why do they call an easy flyball out a "can of corn"?
That's cool. The Indians have an exciting team this year. They will do well, even in the AL Central (toughest division).Go Royals!
Not really amazing. I mean the tickets were only $10. I'm a die hard Sox fan but I live in Dallas, and when I lived 2 miles from Ameriquest Field, I usually went to 15-20 Ranger games just to go to the ballpark and enjoy the game. As long as the visiting team was a team I wanted to see and I could nab a cheap ticket, I was there.
Why arent there any left handed catcher?
I think it's pretty amazing, because when the Expos played the Marlins at US Cellular, no one came. I got there right after the 2nd inning and I only was 3 rows off the field.it was awesome, i went to the game, and the slo-mo wave, and 19,031 fans made it definitely worth while for $10.
