Is it true that ozzie guillen is being replaced by dusty baker?
I have never ever heard of that.If you are a relief pitcher in the Minor Leagues ... ?
Yes there isExample
A balk followed by a pitch or throw is a delayed dead ball. If the balk is followed by a throw, the balk is enforced unless all runners advance at least one base. If a balk is followed by a pitch, the balk is enforced unless all runners and the batter runner advance at least one base. The reasoning for this is that IF the pitch is completed and the batter hits the balked pitch out of the park, he gets the home run.
Does Roger Clemens' latest move disgust you too...?
there is a delayed dead ball for several reasons. I'm not sure if the guy above me is right or not. But one definite reason is if the batter swung and hit the ball and the catchers mitt both on the swing. If the result of the play is better than the awarding of first base then the play stands. If the batter or runner or runners were thrown out a delayed dead ball is called and the batter is awarded first base. Hope that helps.More Questions & Answers...
