If the NL and AL merge what would the MLB divisions look like?

Question:This is how I think it would look:

Ruth Conference (In Honor of Babe plus 3 of the teams he played for are in this conference):

Northeast (Could also be called Atlantic):

New York Yankees
New York Mets
Boston Red Sox
Toronto Blue Jays
Baltimore Orioles
Philadelphia Phillies

Southeast:

Atlanta Braves
Florida Marlins
Tampa Devil Rays
Washington Nationals

North Central:

Milwaukee Brewers
Detroit Tigers
Chicago Cubs
Chicago White Sox
Cleveland Indians

Mays Conference in Honor of Willie Mays:

Central:

Cincinnati Reds
St. Louis Cardinals
Cleveland Indians
Kansas City Royals
Minnesota Twins
Pittsburgh Pirates (Should be in northeast but there's no place to put them because that division would have 7 teams)

Southwest:

Texas Rangers
Houston Astros
Arizona Diamondbacks
Colorado Rockies

Pacific:

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim
Los Angeles Dodgers
San Diego Padres
Seattle Mariners
San Francisco Giants
Oakland Athletics

Where can I get a 2007 stealth baseball bat for under $100?

I don't see what advantage MLB would have in combining leagues from a revenue standpoint, and as a business, baseball will not make such a radical change unless it generates more revenue. MLB has already addressed the natural rivalry through interleague play. It would not be possilbe to schedule one home and one away series with each team, plus added games within your division unless you increased the number of games played. A 200 game season is a bit much.

Anyway, there is one scenario where I could see baseball merging leagues. It would look like this:

American League - East
New York Yankees
Boston Red Sox
Washington Orioles
Philadelphia Phillies
Atlanta Braves

American League Middle
Texas Rangers
Ohio Indians
Chicago Cubs
St. Louis Cardinals
Great Lakes Tigers

American League West
Los Angeles Dodgers
Bay Area Giants
Seattle Mariners
San Diego/Tijuana Padres
Chinese Tai-pei Pirates

World League - Caribbean League
Florida Marlins
Mexico City Gemelos
Guadalajara/Jalisco Cervecero
Santo Domingo Calcetines Blancos
Havana Reds

World Leagues - Asia Pac League
Manila Athletics
Tokyo Devil Rays
Seoul Mets
Beijing Diamondbacks
Australian Nationals

World League - The Rest
Toronto Blue Jays
London Royals
Dubai Mets
Stockholm Angels
Manchester United

All teams would have one long home series and one long road series. When Chinese Tai'Pei and and Bejing Diamondbacks play, the team names will be changed to the Delhi Llamas and Zambian Lions and each will not recognize any wins by the other team. Havana will play home games against U.S. teams in a neutral state such as Switzerland or Iceland. All U.S. teams playing in Havana will have their luggage redirected Guatemala City and be known as the "Team from Caracas."

What team would you love for you favorite team to sweep in the world series?

Why would the AL and NL merge in the first place?

The rivalries would be gone! Instead of the Yankees and Red Sox playing 18 to 19 times a year, they would have to share their rivalry with the Mets, who would have to play them the same amount.

NO MERGING!

Autograph at yankee stadium?

yes, u have it down, this will never happen though, you need to different leagues in the pro sports

Are the San Francisco Giants a good team?

No specific league/conference names, but the divisions would look like this:

California Division: Angels, Athletics, Dodgers, Giants, Padres

Mountain Division: Astros, Diamondbacks, Mariners, Rangers, Rockies

Central Division: Cardinals, Cubs, Royals, Twins, White Sox

Midwest Division: Blue Jays, Brewers, Indians, Reds, Tigers

Southeast Division: Braves, Devil Rays, Marlins, Nationals, Orioles

6 divisions, no wild cards

What Is The Record For Stolen Bases In One Game ?

Since the leagues actually did merge operations about 10 years ago - the divisions would look exactly like they do now.
