Will Eric Chavez break Brooks Robinsons mark of 16 gold gloves?
Question:He is arguably the best in the AL and I still would take him over Rolen since Rolen is injury prone and even though last year Chavez was injured he played through it and won his sixth strength and this year he is well on his way to his 7th. Do you think he'll be able to hit the mark or will he decide to hang it up before he his the mark?

No. He will be 30 this year, and he would be 39 by the time he won his 16th. You don't see too many 39 year old third baseman, by that time they have moved to first base or DH. Also Alex Gordon shows signs of being a great defensive third baseman. I can see Chavez winning a few more, but even Ozzie Smith stopped winning them late in his career.Would Anyone Agree That The Twins Will Win The World Series?
No. Nobody will. Brooks Robinson played 23 years. With the money they get today, no one will either want or need to hang on that long.(BTW, P Jim Kaat also had 16 GGs, and played 25 years.)
Guys get hurt too much and retire too soon, plus it's more fair and less political than it used to be. Widespread media gets more guys exposed, so they have a better shot at winning than in years past.
