Because they do more for baseball marketing than MLB.
They are so amazing that you will have 20 or so Yankee haters telling you why they aren't.
But in the end, the Yankees will more than likely win another Division title, and again be a favorite to go to the World Series.
Boston fans will differ because they spent the weekend beating up on Yankee minor league pitching and love it. Because they know sometime around late August early September they again will somehow collapse and let the Yankees run away with the division again. It happens like clockwork and they know it.
Met fans will be on here too, but they seem to forget that they have a good team also. Funny that they spend more time bashing the Yankees, while their beloved Mets were getting slapped around by the Braves and I don't see a single Yankee fan here to talk about it, and why...because they done care enough.
Lastly, I will leave you with one last parting shot....
If the rest of the league had the same resources, they would do the same. And if you think I am wrong.I tell you that baseball is a business before it is our national pastime.

I thought it was the Mets that were "amazing".I have to agree with everybody else who's responded and say that they are not amazing. The fact they have 3 of the 4 highest paid players in baseball and still can't win a championship says something about their ability. Whether it's a crazy GM who makes moves like it's a video game, or a sub-par manager who still can't put together a championship team with the list of all-stars on his roster the Yankees of today are far from "amazing."
Yes, they have history, but who cares? They're nothing now and the fact that they've won their division 9 years in a row is a moot point considering they're in one of the weakest in baseball.
The truth of the matter is the only reason there are so many Yankees fans is it's a bandwagon team. Just like the Red Sox and Cubs. People only like them because it's the cool thing to do.
