What do you really think about interleague play in baseball?

Question:

Answers:

Red sox or yankees?

Interleague baseball is great for the simple fact that you get to see towns rivals duke it out and it brings the whole town or state together when that happens cause its not like your regular rival that you play 20 times during the year is a one series showdown for bragging rights or simply see the greats players and teams from the other league that you wouldn't normally have a change of seeing otherwise. But i do have one suggestion is that is to use the DH in the National league parks and let the pitchers hit in the American league parks that way we can have the best both world in a different atmosphere.

How many world series have the Yankee's won?

It is great it brings out some very good rivalries.

I'm just curious as to why Red Sox fans hate Johnny Damon?

It's great! Sell outs all around the league. And the AL kicks but. What's not to like?

Who is the only player to steal 5 bases in 1 game?

Great for the fans.
Bad for the National League.

What major league baseball player has the record for most times injured?

I love it! It's a great way to see a possible preview of a World Series to come. Not to mention the rivalries, the American League vs. the National League. It's baseball at its best. They should do it more often. Cause rivalies like Mets vs. Yanks, Angels vs. Dodgers, and Marlins vs Devil Rays will play more often. Nothing beats Interleague play!

Which is more rare? Triple play or hitting for the cycle?

Excellent, especially for two team cities.

What impact has the Texas Rangers have on you?? And Mark Teixeria?

I think its great. Im a Met fan and i love to watch them play the Yankees. I also think it is helping the NL get better, because of the AL powerful line ups. And besides its great for baseball, it generates so much money with the rivalries.

Which team has the coolest logo?

It's great but it would be better if both the AL and NL had 16 teams so everyone can play an interleague game instead of just leaving two NL teams to play each other.

La angels?

its amazing. it allows players to see pitchers that they would never usually see. it breaks up the monotonous flow of playing the same team over and over again all season. last night durin the mets vs. yankees game i heard harold reynolds (former seattle mariner) say "I wish they had interleague play when i was playing"

Albert Pujols?

It has worn out it's welcome. If they really feel the need to do this, than they need to change the structure. Make it NL East vs. AL East one year, Central the next, than West. No it is all mixed up with these "rivalry" games, and it makes the schedules unbalanced.

Why were the Boston Red Sox wearing green last night?

I love it and this year I will get to see the Reds visit the Mariners and Griffey, Jr. first time back to Seattle. If there wasn't interleague play, it would not happen.

In the last 12 games who has been the hotest team the Angels, Red Sox, or the Brewers?

11 anseers, 11 different ideas. I love it,
maybe some "rivalries" are getting stale, but I didn;'t see many empty seats at Shea Stadium last night. The Red Sox will sell out no matter who they play, and Tampa Bay won't sell the house out no matter who they play, so leave it be as it is.

What is clutch hitting in baseball?

It sucks! Meaningless games with teams you see once every 3 years. Leave the Subway Series, Freeway Series, Bay Bridge series to preseason. It's worthless.

Rich Hill is going to be CY Young this year? True or False?

Overhyped twaddle that wastes over 10% of the season. I realize it's not going to go away, but it should be trimmed down a bit. For every BIG HIGHLIGHT series there's two dead dogs. It was a solution in search of a problem, but we're stuck with it now.

Since MLB's lip service to the concept is that it allows fans to see teams they typically would not, the logical extension is that the DH policy in effect should be that of the VISITING team. But MLB won't hear of this and no one in the media has the courage to pose the question.

BASEBALL is boring and cricket is brilliant. look at the video links below to see why?

I think its a gimmick. Being a traditionalist, I was against it at first, but now, it doesn't really move me one way or another. I guess it "stirs up the pot" a little, so maybe its a good thing.
