Fernando Rodney is a complete bum, why does Jim Leyland keep putting him in?
Question:He (along with Jones) blows another one today. Whatever he supposedly had last year he definitely does not have this year. Looks to me like a long stint down at AA is in order.

Where to sit in a Baseball Stadium?
I think we should trade him rather than keep him in our farm system. I know there are fans out there that would love to have him on their team. I'm sure we could get some good players for him. What will probably happen is Leyland will keep putting him in there hoping he'll play his way out of it.
But come on...1-3 with a 7.71 ERA = pathetic
When is Brian Cashman going to realize that pitching wins ballgames?
Here's my take on it, and I've maintained this since 2000:For whatever reason, a pitching staff that dominated deep into the post season one year will have a BIG let down the following summer. Pitching wins championships, BUT no recent repeat champs? The pitchers get tired.
I just knew the 05 White Sox would be the exception to this rule. But look at last year...
The Tigers pitching is gonna be an adventure this summer.
Best world series you've ever seen?
Fernando Rodney had a fairly good year last year. He did have a couple bad games but did well for the most part.Leyland needs to find out now while the season is still young what he has on his pitching staff. With the addition of Jose Mesa in the bullpen, he should quickly revert to the position of middle innings and long relief that has been held by Jason Grilli.
