I've watched a couple of our games already. I think our starting pitching could make the world series- it's as good as our 5 who made it there- but our offense is terrible. You can't score 1-2 runs half the time and expect to make the postseason.

The NL as a whole sucks, so there's always a chance anyone can make the playoffs.

However, in all likelihood, the Giants will not make it. They don't have hardly any good players, including Bonds.

Bonds is a non-factor in that lineup. He can be walked at any time because the guys behind him aren't going to do anything. And, even if they do pitch to him and he homers, it doesn't help them win, because that'le probably be one of the only runs they get in that game.

They're offense stinks something awful, and their terrible bullpen makes up for the decent starting pitching they have.
