If you count, there are 14 AL teams and 16 NL teams. If they moved one NL team to the AL, that would mean one team either wouldn't be playing in each league, or MLB would have to start allowing both leagues to start playing each other, instead of just during the Interleague play, which I think is a little stupid. The point is, if they moved one NL team to the AL, then they would either have to create a new team for each league, or start a complete interleague season. There's no point in either on becuase of the mass confusion.What are the Cardinals' and Cubs' owners names?

because when baseball realigned in 1998.the Milwaukee Brewers were in the AL.but, Bud Selig -- Brewers owner and acting commissioner -- switched his team into the NL. He moved Mil to the NL to move Det from the AL east to AL central to make room for the Devil Rays. Selig moved HIS team to the NL central, instead of moving it to the AL west because of regional ties...and greater revenue generating teams like Cubs and Cards.Hopefully that makes sense...
