How many years in a row will the Boston Red Sox win the AL East, assuming they win it this year?
Question:
Answers:
Who is actually (this season) the best pitcher in the NY Mets?
let's be honest, boston is a tough team this year. I think they'll be contenders for the east championship for a couple more years. they have some young guns on the pitching staff but also some older ones i.e. Schilling and Wakefield. While the older guys are still healthy Boston will be ok. To answer your question, i'd say they can win it 2 yrs. in a row. Will the Pittsburgh Pirates win the World Series in 2007?
zeroIll worry about this year first. the season is still very young.
zero cause they won't win this one either!!!!
I will believe when they DON'T choke.
OMG, Blue Jays WON!! 6-1 vs. Rangers!?
Honestly, I would be worried about this year before worrying about next. With the last division title coming 12 years ago, i don't want to hand it to them in the middle of May.Are there any other Knuckleball pitchers in MLB besides Tim Wakefield of the Red Sox? If so, who?
2 or 3. the yanks arent getting any younger...First things first - the Red Sox haven't won the AL east - the season is barely 1/4 old - there is a WHOLE lot of baseball to be played.
However, things are not looking all that wonderful for the Yankees in '07. They've been burned by injuries, and there is already some talk about Torre's & Cashman's job security. Any organizational shake-up will have some pretty significant consequences.
Long-term... The Red Sox have a bunch of good arms working their way through the system. Lester is rehabbing. Buchholz & Bowden are working their way up. You have quality position players in Ellsbury, Moss & Murphy who will be challenging each other for a job in the OF.
Papelbon is under contract for another couple of years. I believe Matsusaka is signed through 2011. You've got Beckett for a couple of years.
The Red Sox are well-positioned for the future - they won't need to rebuild through free agency, and instead can focus on using free agency to add the pieces they need.
I won't go so far as to say they are going to win the AL East for the next 5 years. But I will say that they are going to be a serious post-season contender for the next 5 years.
if they win this year which I really doubt cause they usually fold in August I'll say 1 in a row.
Where can I find the answers to the 2001 Babe Ruth Umpire Certification Test?
They wont win it this year. They always fall apart in August and September other than in 2004. So none.One.
