You really can't compare the two.Jackie Robinson played 10 years under the worst circumstances of any ball player in major league history and was successful.
Roberto Clemento played 18 years under much more peaceful times.
They both also played much different positions. Both are great in their own special way.

You can't really compare the two. They played different positions in different eras. They have similarities in that they were both in the Dodgers organization, and both were the first of their race in that organization. Robinson was black, and faced hostility and racism from fans, opposition, and teammates. Clemente was latino, and faced not only that, but isolation and misunderstanding in the media because of the language barrier. If you look at their stats, they are similar. If you look at their contributions outside of baseball, they both did things that many people don't know about. Jackie Robinson is a hero in the black community, as Clemente is in South America.
