Autographed baseball?
Question:I have a Mickey Mantle Autographed baseball. It basically sits in a box in my closet. It has been there for a good 10 to 12 years. I looked at it the other day and I noticed that it is turning a little yellow. Why is this and can it be prevented?

Have it hermetically sealed inside a glass cube that's filled with argon gas. That will preserve it and prevent further discoloration.A question for major RED SOX fans...?

What is a good low cost baseball card brand/series to buy for 2007?
I've been a collector for years. It's my understanding that the ball is exposed to acidity on your fingers, light isn't good either as well as air. I've heard that if you cover the ball with either clear fingernail polish or clear varnish will preserve your collectable. The less you handle it, the better it is. The best thing to do is go to a collector's show and ask the venders. They should know for sure.M. Clark
