Why does everyone hate on the best baseball player of all time, Barry Bonds?
Question:I know I am going to get slack on this, but come on, he was and still is the most feared hitter in baseball. He broke the single season and will soon break most homeruns in history. He has NEVER tested hot on any drug test. So everyone is hating on him on heresay. I say all of you are weak and need to start looking at the facts rather than third party trash talk.

I agree with you pimpin. I've been a Bonds fan since he was in Pittsburgh, and after they let him go for Van Slyke, I vowed never to like them again. They don't give the MVP to just anyone, and Bonds has 7 of them. All this talk is coming from people who wished Bonds was on their favorite team 4-5 years ago. Bonds has grown in size, but do you really think he was going to stay 160 lbs his whole life? Baseball players tend to fill out more later in their career. If you look at pics from 1993, you will see that he's starting to do just that. His growth was gradual, not overnight. If there is a positive test, Bud Selig would interrupt every show in the country just to announce it, because he hates Bonds too. Some people say Bonds is arrogant, or doesn't appreciate the fans or the media. He is not obligated to give autographs, or pretend he likes certain people. Are you kidding? Are you that stupid? I can prove to you that Bonds knew what he was doing and lied about it. Simple, if someone you trusted as a trainer was using steroids on you with out your knowledge, how come Bonds is not pursuing the trainer legally for health issues or deception, tried to get him arrested or even said on negative thing about his trainer? If it was anyone else there would be legal ramifications. Bond's knew what he was doing and now is trying to steal fame and fortune from others. He will never be a great ball player just a cheater. He isnt the best player ever. And he's not the most feared hitter in baseball anymore. Albert Pujols, Alex Rodriguez, David Ortiz, Ryan Howard, Justin Morneau are all much more feared hitters than bonds nowadays.And seriously dude, just because Bonds never failed a drug test, doesnt mean he didnt take steroids. You can say that they werent illegal in baseball, but the fact of the matter is, they were illegal in the United States, Bonds plays baseball IN the United States, therefore, it is illegal.

ok brainiac...think of it this way. here's an analogy for ya. how would you feel if you worked hard your whole life to get good grades in college and you squeaked by getting Cs. meanwhile, some other kid got all As, all the time, and then later on you found out that he WAS CHEATING. WAKE UP! it's actually a very simple concept. stop making Bonds the victim. It's not Hank Aaron's fault that the baseball commissioners (and some of the cheating players...who spoil it for all the "good" players) have allowed baseball to become dirty. and that every indication points to Bonds using roids.

3. Barry was once the best all around player in baseball. Since his "fitness regime" began his legs have left him, and his defense (once supreme) is poor at best.
4. The real reason everyone hates Barry: Barry hates everyone else. He's been a pud from his first day in the league. He filed for reduced child support payments in the 90's. He is the epitome of the "ME-first" generation of athletes that are driving people away from baseball and other sports. He has used race as an excuse / reason for why he is being treated so harshly.

I think that because he is sort of "prickly", lets say, that people make excuses to trash him. Getting on him about alleged steroid use is one way of doing it. He is one of the greatest major league baseball players ever to strap on cleats. I agree with just about everything you say, so I don't jump on the lets-hate-Barry bandwagon.
