Question:I am in first place in my league, but recently to a bit of an odd trade. I traded Johan Santana, Billy wagner, and Alex Rios!
for Brad Penny
Ryan Howard
Ken Griffey Jr.
My pitching is pretty deep so I figured I could make that gamble. (I just picked up clemens, and carmona of waiver wires) My OF is also very strong, but I have Giambi on first, and he seems to be breaking down. Basically this trade is all about Ryan Howard. What do you guys think?

Don't like it. Penny and Griffey are an injury risk and Howard will not put up the numbers he had last year. Santana and Wager are a fantasy dream and Rios is a sleeper.You are definitely giving up too much. Brad Penny has been on the wire in many leagues and Griffey is always a game away from shutting down for the season.
Meanwhile Johan and Wagner are studs!!
You would've been better off trading giambi and Rios for someone like Fielder.

I think you're giving up too much just to get R. Howard. Penny and Griffey are injury risks and now Howard is on the DL too. Santana is such a great pitcher and Giambi could still come around and have a good season.What is the difference between O-Rank and Rank in Yahoo fantasy baseball?

Howard isn't doing very good, and Santana will heat back up. I personally think you made a bad trade, penny has gotten lucky, and wagner will get you some saves. Vito it if you can.How do i improve my 12 year old sons hitting?
