How do you stripe your lawn? (Like a basball field)?

HR = Home Runs. When a player hits a ball out of the ball park.

RBI = Runs Batted In. When a player gets a base hit and scored a run wether if there is someone else who scores at home plate, or it's a homerun.

Average = The hit percentage the person has. The better hit percentage (.300+) means the the percentile of how much that player gets on base.

CS = Usually would mean Caught Stealing. Could mean something else, but I don't think there is anything else.

Whats the record for strikeouts in a game by a n.l. rookie?

Where will Edward Easley go in the MLB draft?

HR - Home run
RBI - Run(s) batted in, basically any run that crosses the plate when a player is batting is credits with an RBI.
The batting average is total hits/at bats. A good average is around the .300 mark, while superior batting is around .330.
The Mendoza Line is .200.
CS - caught stealing, also credited to players who are picked off a base.

Who do you think is the best player in the central division?

HR = Home Run
RBI = Runs Batted In. In this case, if the batter hits the ball & runs to first & there's a guy on third & second & the two guys on third and second get to home plate, the batter gets 2 RBI.
CS = caught stealing as far as I know. as in stealing bases.
I think the average you're referring to is the batting average, which is basically the number of times the player has hit the ball over the total number of times the ball has been pitched to him.

Owner for the Chicago Cubs that employee midgets as vendors in Wrigley to avoid blocking playing view?

Every answer that you've received is pretty much correct. Technically, batting average is hits / at bats. But not all plate appearances are at bats. Those plate appearances that end with a walk, a hit batsman, a sac bunt, a sac fly, or catcher's interference (one of the ways that a catcher can be charged with an error) are plate appearances but not at bats.

The O's game?

HR is Home run that is when you hit the ball out of the park in fair territory and all the players on bace score
Rbi is Run batted In any player on bace you are responsible for getting across home plate
average is the amount of hits per at bat (example) if you get 3 hits in 10 at bats your average will be .300 if you get one hin in 10 at bats you average will be .100 (.300 and up is considered great)
Cs is cought stealin either the catcher has thrown out a runner stealing bace or the pitcher has

Orioles fans- What happened to BJ Surhoff?

HR=Home Run, is when the batter makes it all the way to home plate by one hit. Most HR when they are hit outside of the park or there is inside the park HR

RBI=Runs Batted In
When a batter makes a hit and there is a runner on base and that runner scores then the batter that made that hit gets an RBI b/c he helped score that run in with his hit.

When they say average it means the Batting Average of a player which is calculated by Dividing the # of hits by the # of At Bats.

CS=Caught Stealing which is when a player on base attempts to steal a base but gets tagged out while trying to steal base so literally you get "Caught Stealing"
