Barry lamar Bonds has never come out and said "ive taken steroids" But during his testimony in the grand jury investigation he claimed "i never KNOWINGLY took any performance inhancing drugs. he did stress the word knowingly...so i think this was his way to cover his own *** when and if a perjery trial ever takes place.if he is ever proven that he tested positve..he could always fall back on the "i said i never knew about it" im not saying bonds ever took steroids.but the problem is people want it to be true simply because of his attitude. He hasnt exactly been the nicest person when it comes to the media and/or fans. hes been called arrogant, cocky, and down right standoffish. this is why people are trying to "burn him to the stake even before he breaks the record. Another reason is is quick change in body type. he left pittsburgh in 92 a quick thin speedster with signs of power...two years later he shows up at giants spring training and he had gained about 90lbs of muscle and was huge! now this could be the result of one or two things..either a he took performance inhancing drugs...or b he worked extra extra hard on the weights and at like a linebacker to gain the weight and turned it into the muscle. to be honest i dont know the which of these is the truth...and im not sure if anyone will ever know. but i do know one thing. look at his numbers before the "steroids era, before he gained the weight, before he became huge" he was a sure fire hall of famer then.and he is now. whether he breaks the record in a week, a year, or never i know ill always consider barry bonds as the best overall baseball player i have ever seen.No, but i mean, look at him!

Why would anyone with no reason to admit guilt do so for fun or the "heck of it"? Since he has undergone extensive medical testing administered by MLB and independent laboratories, no positive test results have surfaced or were released to the public. BALCO provided and manufactured anabolic steroids as well as legitimate vitamin supplements to athletes. There's no such thing as "undetectible".Would anyone admit to stealing or killing someone if they did not do the deed?
