The Yanks just are not playing like a championship caliber team at the moment. The only guys playing with any heart and passion is Jeter and Jorge.I mean the pitching is miserable due to injury and age, which overworks the bullpen. There's no excuse for their paltry offense, though.
With teams like Chicago, Cleveland, Minnesota, and Detroit fighting it out in the Central, there's just no room this year for the Yankees to make the playoffs...thank God.
