Interleague Fair?

Question:Allstar 3rd baseman of the atlanta braves (Chipper Jones) is ranting on about how it team has to face teams with a .634 winning precent as the rival Mets has to face a .427 winning precent teams. Is this fair, or is Chipper worried

Answers:

I need your help, i have a signed baseball w/ last name Mc.?

I think this is fair, the Braves will face the Mets 17 times this year, that is more then enough to see whos team is better. Also this is more about the fans, seeing the white sox facing the cubs, and the Lone Star Showdown. I think it is fair, and chipper really needs to relax.

Were can i get a coa for my baseball?

Chipper is just getting worried because they might not win the games. Its perfectly fair because no matter who you play you have to win. Dont worry about who your playing and just play the game and try to win.

What does "called up from minors-not to report" mean in baseball?

And the Red Sox play in a division where they are the only team above .500...SO WHAT. What a teams winning percentage is this early in the season is not all that big of a deal. And out of 162 games the next 9 should not make that big of a difference. There will always be another team with a harder schedule than yours, and another team with an easier schedule than yours. The only one you can worry about is yours.

Testing all my baseball fans (missed you guys). First person that gets the answer wins 10 points. What is TPA?

It is fair. It is the luck of the draw.
The Yanks could be great this year and Sox could have been bad.
That is how the cookie crumbles.
I am surprised by his comments, as he is a very professional person.
In one month the tides could turn and the Braves may get a weak franchise and the Mets a difficult one.

How many walk off home runs has trevor hoffman given up in his entire career?

I find it comical that the winning % is based on 40 games, or 25% of the season. Lets wait until the end of the season to make an accurate assesment, if that argument even held water. Its even more comical to complain about anyones schedule, when discussing opponents winning%'s compared to your own teams opponents.

Now take a look at who the Mets play in the AL - Yankees, Tigers, A's, Twins - all playoff teams for the last year and in the exception of Detroit - all playoff teams for the past 8 years... I think the Mets have the argument they play the toughest interleague schedule all year. Braves play Minn, Det, Cleveland and Boston. Certainly not an easy schedule - but swap the Yankees for Boston - looks even, except the Braves play Cleveland - who are having a great year. For the first 40 games...

The best teams % wise rarely win Championships. St Louis proved that last year, as they barely limped into the playoffs.

Its cryassing at its best. And I am a huge Chipper fan, as a Met fan living in Atlanta...

What are good end-of-season gifts for Little League players? Ideally something under $10.?

Chipper should just play the games. It makes him look like he is not competitive. If he was really compititive he should of want to play ther best and beat the best.
