How do you determine how many games back a team is in the baseball standings?


Question:For example, if a team has a 19-6 record, how many "games back" is the second place team with a 17-7 record?

Every game you will gain a half point you win you gain half a point. If the other team loses then you will gain another half point.

In the American League, can a pitcher pinch hit for the DH, if he is pitching in the other half?

In example in the AL East standings[right now] The Yankees have 8 more loses and 9 less wins than Boston add those two together[17] and divide by two[8.5] is how many Games Back a team is. hope that helps." and the 2nd place team will be 1 and a half back.

How can I clean the inside of my softball glove?

each game counts a 1/2 game in the standing. so take the full amount subtract the lower level team and count in 1/2s and you will have the actual number of games back
