Felix or Dice-K?
Question:I would have to go with Felix because he's younger and hes got a lot of stuff. But so does Dice-K.

Dice-K, He is amazing... 10 strikeouts in his first major league start. If he keeps up this work, he will have numbers like Johnson and Mussina... Even if he is starting late in the majors. But, he does have experience in babeball, I hear the Japan league was pretty intense. And then, there is his mysterious gyroball, hmm... Maybe it will be revealed soon..Why do some major league outfielders throw like girls?

Dice-K. Felix might be pitching well now, but not forever. He'll throw a one hitter and then throw a game where he gets taken out in the 3rd inning. Dice-K always pitches frequently. He throws a game 7 innings, and then a 6 inning, but he will still throw the ball 97,96,98,93,94,92. Felix throws the ball 98 and then 72. Dice-K might throw a no hitter later in his career, but im no pounding on Felix.Dice K come on 10k's in his fisrt major league game hes just an all around good pitcher. I think hes better then Felix but I just don't know if he has all the expirence thats needed.

Being someone who can be impartial and could care if Boston or Seattle fell off the map-I'm taking Felix. And all these stupid posts about how "Dice K does it everytime and Felix can't do it forever"??? What is that garbage? The Boston pitcher beat Seattle...how is that everytime?? And it has yet to be proven that either one can beat quality teams. Lets see how they do against strong lineups like Cleveland,Chicago,NYY...just another Japanese pitcher who looks astounding until the league catches on to him...and believe me-the league will catch on to him. Hernandez stuff and age make him far more spectacular at this point.I think both are great pitchers and both stand out tremendously. They also are doing good this year, but Dice-K is a powerful rookie with his strong gyro ball. Though he has lost one game its the offenses fault. Finally Felix doesn't have experience like Dice-K who pitched in Japan where he over came intense training MLB pitchers never endure.
So as you see Dice -K is a complete pitcher and Felix is just good and inexperienced.

Hard to say what Dice-K is going to show us over the course of the season, I'd say the surest bet would be King Felix. He won the head to head matchup even with one of the worst hitting teams in baseball. Dice- K has the offence to help him out, but Felix has better stuff.they both have great stuff, but i would go with felix because of his age and the fact that he does have more major league experience than dice-k...i mean, dice-k has made two good starts, but they were both against average to below-average lineups...felix has already had most of a year in the majors and has proven that he has dominant stuff and will be amazing in the future
These are two great pitching arms, but I have to say that of the two, DiceK is a more seasoned "pitcher", while Felix is still developing past the "throwing" stages. Felix has FAR superior stuff over Dice-K, he is showing great strides in having developed very well & will continue to get better.
While I see Felix as having dominating stuff, I do not see that from Dice-K, he is hittable & a patient team will find pitches to hit from him if he is forces into the zone, that being said I do not think Dice-K will replicate the kind of phenominal season Hideo Nomo had his first year where he utterly dominated the batters, Dice will likey have a good year, as he is an above average pitcher...
King Felix looks to have a great season ahead...i look for him to be one of the top 5 pitchers in the league at years end...Johan, Felix, Lackey, Halladay

Well if it was judged on one MLB game then ya you would have to take Felix but I think Dice K is more polished and battle hardened. Im not sure a 21 year old could handle pitching in the ALCS at Yankee stadium. Dice K, on the other hand, has that ability.More Questions & Answers...
