I'd just wash it by hand in the sink. They make those things to do it in a dishwasher, but I'm pretty sure they have a pretty flat bill on them...which isn't at all how I have the bill on mine.Just put it in hot soapy water and hope it doenst mess up the hat.

Use the plastic baseball hat shaped washer. You open it up and place your hat inside. If you use the washing machine (Best for really soiled hats ) use a couple of twist ties to ensure that it stays closed. They keep your hat in really great shape throughout the wash. I've found that the best way to wash it is by hand with a mild detergent. Make sure you rinse it thoroughly and get out all the soap. Then hang it to dry using a handled pot that is roughly the same size as the hats interior (sounds funny but it works!).
