How come throwing submarine in baseball is bad for your arm?

Well, I have no clue, but it seems to me your arm just hangs there and when you move it those tendons tighten and loosen really fast and when you put that much force and that much range on your shoulder or on your arm it can do some damage, but I dont think it is as bad as regular pitching.What was going on with Mike Loweel yesterdayu during the Red Sox vs Royals game?
