Going out for baseball next season?
Question:I'm going out for baseball at my school next season. We're pretty bad so I don't think you need to be too good to make the team. But I haven't played in awhile. I used to be a hitting monster but I lost my touch. I just need some advice on how I can get better at hitting and fielding.

Well, practice ALOT! Almost everday if possible. Do a lot of drills, like running, swinging with a bat weight on it, practicing pop flys and grounders. Have your friends help you practice. Have them throw you grounders and pop flys like 20-30 in a row. As for your hitting, usually if your a good hitter, once you get back into to playing baseball it all comes back to you. But you still have practice. Good luck. Hope you make it! :DWho was the last non-pitcher to pitch in a major league game?
good luckMy softball coach treats me like crap. any suggestions to fix it or deal with it?
Just dont give up. Go at side and hit some woofle (if thats how u spell it) balls and make contact. Everyday hit 20 balls. Then u could hit some pitches if u could find someone to throw to u they don't even have to throw real baseballs. Work out stay healthy and allways look for advice. If u know someone who really knows baseball, talk to them and ask them for ways to get ready for when the tryouts come. Don't give up.Are The Atlanta Braves Going To Win The NL East?
The best invention ever is the tee. Hit a bucket of balls of the tee every day. It will improve your hitting so much. I'm battin .413 from hitting off the tee everyday. Buy a tennis ball and throw it off the wall for 30 mins or more every day (if you want to play infield. I dont really know what you can do for outfield.Nobody thats calls themself a hitting monster can be any good at sports, so i would say try gymnastics or soccer or something else that doesnt take any skill.
Question about the double steal in baseball?
Practice with someone pitching it to you and then have someone practice hitting it to you.I am a senior on my high school baesball team. chances are if your team isn't as successful as you said, freshman yearis for building the program up. My coach never looked at stats from our underclass years. Playing as a freshman you get to learn what their program is trying to teach, and the coaches are there for you. They should help you play better, and understand the game greater. Over the summer if your school offers an incoming freshman camp, that will show you things u can do to get ready, also a community house league can get u live game action.
good luckk
