i am also left handed and play softball and i found a glove easy. but if you are just using it to throw and catch just get a cheap glove. get it from sports authority. thats where i got mine. just get an adults size glove. the diff between infield and outfield gloves is that outfields are bigger and padded more so they can catch fly balls. they are basically made for the position they play. get wat im sayin?? it wont matter if u get outfield, infield,fast pitch or slow pitch as long as u have a glove. since ur not playin pro then just get a good fitting glove that works. also the glove will be stiff for the first couple of times you use it cuz its not broken in yet. unless you buy it already broken in.if you live in a small town, BUY ONE OF THE INTERNET!! If you are an adult i suggest getting a cheap 11 to 11.5 size glove.

GEE girl it is not that difficult, go to a sportng good store, and pick up a rawlings softball glove, u can pick up one for about 30 bucks,if its just to play catch with your son, then this should do it. Or go to wally world sporting good sectionDoes the batter get credited with an rbi if a runner from third scores on a dropped third strike?
I suggest checking out baseballsavings.com or another website. I just purchased a nice baseball mitt from there and it was considerably cheaper that what it was selling at retail. They have several mitts from several companies. And you choose what ever size you prefer. I use a 12" for softball but that's just because I feel like I can control it better. I also play shortstop so control of my glove is important. Some people like larger gloves due to the size of the softball. If your hands are smaller, I would also suggest a 12" or 12.5". Big enough for the softball but small enough to fit well on your hand. I hope that helps some.I need some snappy comebacks to say to met fans?

the size of the glove doesnt really have to do with the size of ur hand most baseball players in the majors use 11 or 11.5 for infield and a larger 12-14 for outfieldit really depends on what u want. You can pitch behind an L screen or take him to the batting cages. If you cant take him to the cages for some reason you can just order a glove off the internet from the places we sites or u can get a nice one.More Questions & Answers...
