Team #1 got: Jimmy Rollins, Carl Crawford
Team #2 got: Carlos Beltran, JJ Hardy, and Ryan Theriot.

I think team 2 got a better deal because JJ hardy is doing very well right now and Beltran is Beltran. Carlos will have another great year because he has speed and power.Why is the Minnesota Twins logo a T with a C in front of it?

team #1 lots of steals and avg but team #2 also got a good deal with mvp canidate Beltran and if Hardy holds up this year he will be all star1st person to answer correctly gets the best answer!?
Team 2. they got Beltran!Team #2...Hardy leads the league in HR, Beltran will heat up after the Allstar (if not sooner)--and Pinella likes Theriot (The Riot--as they call him up here in Chicago) so he will get more playing time.

This is close imo. I will rather have Team #1 since two got two unknown guys who just broke out. I think Hardy could be a top 5 ss but Rollins is a guaranteed one and he got good power and he will get you sb's and a alright average. Crawford is always a sb threat, hits for not great but ok power, and he gets a respectable average. While Hardy is hot right now but many hr's and he will cool down for at least some of the season, Beltran he is a sb threat, gets hrs, and a good average and a top pick, theriot he really only gets steals and hits for a good average. I mean its close but I give the slight edge to team number one. Also you will have to drop somebody so it will matter who that will be but still side 1 wins since they get guys who are CONSIENTLY good not two guys who are hot out of the gates and the first month and a half shoot forgot his name but look at the guy for the Tiger's a few years ago who started out hitting hr's like crazy he is now part of the minor league.Dodger games, how much is "all you can eat"??

I can't evaluate this trade unless I know what each team's needs were...if team 1 was desperate for steals, they completely locked down that category for the rest of the season...if team 2 needed power, they got what they needed too, even though I doubt that Hardy can keep up with this torrid pace...but I give the slight edge to team 2, cuz they did not lose too much, since Beltran and Theriot help ease the loss of all those SB'sTeam #2
