Go with Martin, in certain leagues, a catcher that can steal will give you a few extra point during the week. And his stats are not to bad eitherIHSA rules on playing an athlete who has also played on another level that day.?
Posada, the yanks will have him in the lineup for almst every game and he is a very consistant catcher. Get him fast before someone else takes himWho is your favorite baseball player?
Posada (switch hitter) Martin had a good rookie year.Cut your current cather if bad and get Posada and Martin.
I would take Posada if you are only carrying one catcher. If you decide to go with 2 take Martin too. Posada will probably sit 20-30 games throughout the season. Might not be bad to have another if you have room.

If I had to rank them i would say (not that you need any with Mauer):1) Barrett- hes a lock for at least 16 hrs and 60 rbi maybe more with that lineup
2) Martin- this guy has the potential to be the best of the bunch, 5 tool stud, but this year i believe Barrett, who is proven, will top his numbers
3) Posada- getting old but hes still good, don't expect a repeat of last years numbers though
4) Estrada- very underrated, count on 13 hrs and around 60 rbi (i think Estrada can actually outperform Posada, but playing for NYY gets JP slight advantage).
5) Bard- hes often platooning, but is a patient hitter

If I had to take one off this list, it would be either Barrett of Posada. However, there are two catchers I value higher. They would be Victor Martinez of Cleveland and McMann of Atlanta

I would go with Jorge Pasada due to his consistent production, year in, year out. I may consider Russell Martin since he is an up and coming producer and can only get better.More Questions & Answers...
