Carlos Beltran. He is a very good all around player. What is the fastest pitch recorded in history in pro baseball?
Craig Biggio, he may not be the best right now but he is a great player. He has grinded out a long career, sacrificed his body over 270 times for his team, and is about to break 3000 hits. And I would say from looking at him that no one can accuse him of using steroids, lol.I am a Yankee fan so I am going to skip all of them. Jeter, Mo, Pettite & Posada are the tops. Cano, Melky Matsui are there. I am going to give my honest opinion on many players and it will shock many. Read the description.
David Ortiz: I HATE HIM with all my heart! But the guy can flat out hit and does so with a smile and a sense that he is having fun. I like major leaguers who seem to enjoy the game of baseball. I cannot help but to say, dang he is good! When he kills one of my beloved pitchers.
Jose Reyes: He is EXCITING! The guy gets a base on balls and he is on 3rd 2 pitches later
Johan Santana: Pure domination. He is in the category of Rocket Clemens, Nolan Ryan - maybe even better. I simply get awe struck watching him pitch.
David Wright: Young and taking the city by storm. Power and skill. Reminds me of Jeter about 10 years ago.
Biggio - PURE CLASS!!
Pujols: AWESOME TALENT!
I am going to stop there, but I am a fan of players who seem to be a fan of the game. Guys who have awesome talent but are not stuck in the paper saying stupid junk. Guys who know how lucky they are and use there fame to be positive role models. I think all those mentioned fit this profile.
