Who officially had the first homerun of the year?

Are you kidding? I hope you are because you don't fill up a baseball with air. A baseball is solid, it has a hard inside. No air. So there wouldn't be an air hole on it, it doesnt need air.

In their prime which 3 would you pick in a homerun derby?

As much as I like the other answer, I feel obliged to mention that baseballs are filled with either stiff foam or string, neither of which has much of a tendency to leak out. Thus the initial filling that the ball gets at the factory is usually sufficient to last for the useful life of the ball.

Contrary to popular belief, you can in face fill up a baseball with air.
Simply take a Peruvian doomsday fish and pinch its tail with a lucky monkey claw. The fish will then release a toxin so powerful that it will fill the core of the baseball with gas, and will thereby inflate the ball.
There, I responded to your strange question with an even stranger answer.

Give me a a projection on when barry bonds will break the record?

There is a reason why they sell them already blown up, it's a pain to refill them. Never fear, I have the answer. Carefully take the laces off. Just untie them. Then unwrap all the string and put it in a neat pile. (you will need it later) then find the little core. There is a really small hole on the core. That is where you can fill it up with air. But you will need an adapter for your pump. Any good sporting goods store has them, but they are behind the counter so ask a sales rep. They are usually happy to unload those little needles. Once it is full then wind the string back around the core (be sure it is EXACTLY like it was when you unwrapped it) and lace the skin back up and tie it. Then take it to your friends and show them what you did. This is a tough job and they will be impressed that you had the patience to finish the job. Oh and take a hammer with you, your friends may want to hit you in the head with it, just to check the contents! Have a great day!
