I feel your frustration but Pavano is making $10,000,000 a year and no one is going to eat that with his past injury history.A team would have to be pretty desperate or as dumb as Arizona ( Johnson trade ) to take him.

I mean we will have ching ming.then mussina.then pettite.the possibly philip hughes...n then pavano. I mean tahts not a bad starting 5!! and on top of taht you might be able to throw in Clemens in that rotation. So having Carlos as a 5th starter isnt so bad if you think about it. You can't trade him. That's like a factory trading its toxic waste. You have to pay for someone to take it away. If he does actually have a $10 million salary and he is worth $500,000 as a middle inning reliever, the Yankees would have to eat $9.5 million of his salary annually to pay for him to play for another team.
