This wouldnt do much to fix the imbalance between the AL and NL, but if youre going to have 6 teams in a division, MLB should move the Pirates to the NL East. I know "no one cares about the Pirates" and "they suck" and whatever else, but they seem to be on the upswing after about a decade and a half of poor play. When realignment happened they kind of got stuck in the NL Central. Theres no real history there. Back when the Pirates were good, they'd have epic divisional battles with the Mets, especially in the late 80s and early 90s where the division winner would come down to the last day of the season. There would be the in state rivalry with the Phillies, and of course the Braves, who beat the Pirates in the 91 and 92 NLCS, thus starting the "rebuilding" years in Pittsburgh. Throw in the Nationals, who are geographically only 3 and a half hours away from Pittsburgh and you could set up another one. It'd be a hell of a lot better than playin Milwaukee umpteen times a year...I know this really doesnt answer your question, but this is something I've been thinking MLB should do for a while. If theres going to be a division that has one more team than the others, does it really matter what division that is? Set up some more rivalries instead of beating Yanks-Sox to death...
Who thinks A Rod will win the AL MVP this year?
Anticipating expansion.Where can you download free fulll version games from?
cuz with 15 teams in each league and the fact that al never plays nl except interleague, you'll always have two teams not playing every night since there are 15 teams in each league and these teams cant play each other cuz theyre from different leagues.Did Barry Bonds beat Hank Aaron's record yet?
Because their contract says that the teams must agree to the realignment and the teams involved don't want to change leagues.Because Interleague play isn't something baseball wants to make regular, and they also don't want teams (and can't have anyway) getting 5 day layoffs between games, which would happen if you had 15 teams in the NL and the AL. There has to be an even number of teams in each league, or either Interleague play must become normal, or teams will have really long layoffs, since there would be one team per league without an opponent.
they have the divisions set by geographic areas

I think they should move, maybe Houston in the the AL West then everything would be even.I never understood why they messed up everything in the first place.Because the MLB hierarchy led by Bumbling Bud are idiots! It makes way too much sense.
