Matsuzaka may not be part of MLBPA (Major League Baseball Player's Association) like such players as Kevin Millar and Barry Bonds. I'm not sure if he is part of the group...but I'd suggest hooking the Playstation online and updating the roster...perhaps they have put him in the game...or they will be in the near future.

In Matsuzaka's case (and that of a couple other foreign players), it's because he wasn't signed until after the game was finished. Check the publisher's web site - they have have an update available for download.In the case of some others (such as Barry Bonds), it's because they're not members of the Players Association and the publisher would have had to contract separately with them. In these cases, there's a fictional player with the missing player's stats in the game - a couple minutes of google searching should show you who's who.
