I really belive they NEED to bring him up! How do you use the Euphis pitch in MLB 07 the show?
I would like to, but I don't think it's a good idea right now. The Yankees would prefer to wait a couple of months before doing that. Hughes struggled some in spring training, and was sent down on March 14th which is pretty early. He is 1-1 at Columbus. He was good in his first start but gave up 5 runs in 5 innings in his second and his ERA is over 6 at the moment. The Yankees want to wait until he has adjusted and is getting his change and curve over consistently so that once he is up, he won't have to go back to the minors. I want to see him up too, and I can't wait! He struggled for a month in AA last year before he started dominating. Once he hits a hot streak at Columbus, they will make room for him. They will do it when the time is right.The Yankees did bring up Chase Wright, who is 24, a lefty with a good fastball, from AA. He is starting Tuesday. Also Wang will be back next week as well.
I would love to see them bring him up, but personally watching him this preseason i dont think hes ready yet. in a couple months hell be ready but not yet.
