Why does espn always show the yankees?

I liked them just fine until they signed The Roaster last year (Kenny Rogers) - The guy would hold the throne of "Jerk of all Jerks" if it werent for the sad existance of Barroid* Bonds.

Rogers and Mesa are reasons enough to not like the Tigers.

That being said, I generally like them because they're managed by Leyland. If anyone can keep the above cancers in check, it's Leyland. He kept Rogers in check last season, after all.
