obviously he isnt the sammy of old, he aint puttin up 60 HRs, or 50, 40, nor 30, but if he still sprints out to right field like he did in Wrigley, plays hard, and shows that he too wants to put the whole steroid scandal behind him, I think it will be good for him and the game. I wouldnt say hes totally washed up, I mean hes a solid spot in the bottom of the lineup, and if his numbers continue like they have been, look for him to put up a solid 20 or so HRs to add to the HR slugging Rangers line-up. This is a PR stunt, and it is EMBARASSING for MLB to allow him to return to the Majors -- after that performance before Congress. Well he was originally out of shape and over the hill, however, old Sammy Sosa has proven he can hit, and hit for the long ball (being 1 of only 5 players or so that has 600 dingers or more). Apparently he has worked hard in the offseason and is healthy. With all he's done in the past, you have to thing he still has what it takes. I'm not saying he is gonna win the home run title this season, but look for him to have 35 plus blasts. He's a good fantasy pickup for a low price, if you're in that type of league. I'd take a chance on him. All and all, I'm thinkin' hill hit atleast .250 and have 80+ rbi's and 35+ bombs.Who are you voting for national league catcher?

Sure he can and will make a difference in TX. Perhaps not to the level he did with the Cubs, but given the Ballpark in Arlington, Sosa will hit his fair share of HR's.Keep an eye on this, as there will be more stories coming out of Texas than just Sosa...namely the Rangers winning the Division, thanks to their PITCHING!!
