1.stealth- these bats are expensive but they help when it comes to the weight to length comparision. they are VERY light bats.2.havoc- again, they are expensive, but again also they are light.
3.demarini- these bats are priced mid-range and i personally have 1, and i LOVE it. they arent as light, but i seen to like them the best, and preform the best with them.
you can go buy a bat worth $250k, but it not the bat, its whos holding it.
How many home runs does hank arron have?
Any composite bat will last, just get a Louisville Slugger. But why is a 9 year old using a composite bat anyways? At 9 you should be using the small aluminum bats and should not be getting into bat regulations until the kid has matured a little more.At 9 years old a bat won't make a hill of beans difference.
Save the money you would spend on a bat and buy a hundred wiffle balls of various colors and sizes (both baseball and golf wiffles work great) then pitch the kid at least 100 pitches 3 times a week. This will help much more than any bat ever would. I believe the different sizes and colors will help train the eyes to see the ball better. But in the end the practice will do more than any piece of equipment. If you kid doesn't enjoy hitting don't force him just keep making the offer. Baseball should be fun, damn it!
