Do you think anyone will break the record for 73 hr in a season this year? If so...who?
Haha. Probably more to do with a longstanding tradition that started before lights were present on baseball fields. If anything, this should be it because opening day games would generally sell a ton of tickets whether they were at night or during the day. I guess they call it opening "day" for a reason. That's exactly why their TV ratings are going down. I can sneak a radio into a classroom but not a TV. Anyway, I think its pretty ridiculous too. I don't have to worry about it though, my Angels have the right idea they play at 7:05pm. A night game with plenty of time for me to drive out there when I get out of school. But, I can sympathize with you.Derrick Fisher missed the first game of the Utah series, why?

It's not about getting people fired. Besides, you could always arrange this as one of your vacation days.
Who do you think is the most underrated team and player in the MLB?
Opening Day is traditionally an afternoon game. If you couldn't make it because you can't get time off from work, your team probably plays plenty of night games in which you'll be able to attend.More Questions & Answers...
