Grease the glove with oil. Then put a baseball in the mitt and tie it closed for a couple days.My brother oiled it really well, then placed his baseball inside it and wrapped a rubber band around it. It was just the way he liked it after 2 or 3 days. (He said that the leather needed time to stretch to fit the ball)

massage it(meaning grab the end tips of the gloves and roll it) use a leather oil (don't use glove oils ar baby oil) and put a softball in it and tie a string a round it. this keeps a nice pocket. this is for infielders gloves.for outfielders just keep working it back and forth. use a little oil and use 2 baseballs to get an outfield pocket. so it almost looks like a pancake . cause you don't want a deep pocket for an outfield glove.
I've heard of baking it but i never did this with my glove but his did come out nice. i think he baked it at 200* for 5-6mins but i'm not sure.
also play catch with it. just sit down while watching tv and throw a baseball in it to soften it up too works

You need one of two substances to put on the glove: the best is a product called Neatsfoot Oil, and you can pick it up at most sports and outdoors stores. The second is to get a shaving cream with Lanolin in it. This is a cheaper solution, but I have used it and it does work well. Coat the pocket and the laces, and put a bit on the back of the glove also to soften the leather, but not too much. Place one ball in the pocket down in the heel of the glove, and one in the webbing. If this is an infielders glove 11" or smaller, only place one ball in the heel. Wrap it very tightly in some rope and place it in a black garbage bag and put it somewhere that gets sun for the majority of the day. The black bag attracts heat and this will soften the leather with the oil on it. You want to try and take the glove out twice a day and re-oil it and work the leather around by placing the glove on your hand and banging your fist into it and bending the fingers in to form a pocket. After 5 days or so start playing catch and the glove should start to form a nice pocket where you catch the ball regularly.Rub in oil and then put a softball in the pocket of the glove and wrap string or cords around it and put it under a pillow with about twenty pounds of weights on it. I use a softball because to me it gives a baseball glove a little bigger pocket in the glove.

The quickest way is to use Hot Glove. This is a foam you can buy at any Big 5 or Wal-Mart. All you do is coat the glove with the foam, rub it in, and put in a pre-heated 300 deg oven for four minutes. Take the glove out, let it cool slightly, and work it in with your hands, repeat two or three times, wrap it up with rubberbands and a ball in it. Let it cool completely and voila: old glove feel with new glove durability.
Coat with vaseline and rub rub rub to seal in the Hot Glove treatment and you will have a glove that is waterproof as well. traditionalists don't like thuis method but it works in a pinch.
