Juan pierre?
Question:Does anyone else think that Juan Pierre will earn a spot into the Hall Of Fame

What is the salary of a Sportscenter Anchor. Stuart Scott for example?
Are you kidding?? The guy stole a few bases and is an average player at best. It takes multiple all-star bids and at least a couple of years among the best at your position to be a HOFer. Pierre isn't even close. How can I get White sox scores on Scoreboard?
I highly doubt itHas a World Series Winner ever been no hit during that same regular season?
he would have done better if he would have been traded to the cardinalsha ha like when the cubs totally screwed up trading an all star ( Lou Brock ) to my favorite team!
i think he will earn a spot on on the HOF!
Who is the best current baseball player in MLB?
noHe's still got time to put up numbers, but it is very hard to see him making the hall of fame. He is no doubt an excellent leadoff hitter, but his only monster numbers are his steals. His career batting average is a tick over .300 and once he's all said and done, it probably will be right around .300. If everyone with a .300 career batting average made the hall, it would be overloaded.
His 328 career steals are nice but are minute when compared to all-time leader Rickey Henderson and his 1,406. Henderson also hit for power, 297 home runs compared to Pierre's 12. Henderson scored 2,295 runs in his career compared to Pierre's 612. Henderson had 11,95 RBI compared to Pierre's 287.
You probably double all of Pierre's numbers when you consider he is 30. Still his numbers are not going to come anywhere close to Henderson's. He's also never made an all-star team, another problem.
Juan is an excellent lead-off hitter and would be for any team. So far I miss his prowess at the top of the Cubs lineup even though we replaced him with Soriano. Pierre got on base and he didn't strikeout, Soriano is gonna give me some headaches this season, I can already tell. However, under no circumstances do I see Juan Pierre making the Hall of fame, but no knock on him at all.
Maybe, Juan Pierre hasnt had any explosive seasons. With the numbers that he has now no.
I don't think he will get any better than he was when he was younger, hes just getting worse every year and a .300 carrer batting average isnt good enough.plus he only has 12 homruns in his whole career!!!
Pitchers duel vs. total blowout?
No. Very few guys "run" into the Hall. One guy who could have was Vince Coleman, but he made a lousy career move in going to the Mets, and then the dumb firecracker incident-he never recovered from that, and by the time he started playing again, he was too shot. But he was a sensational base stealer, the only major leaguer to ever steal over 100 bases in three consecutive seasons. What will the Pirates do this year?
