Seano is a little self absorbed.In a baseball game, a hat is a symbol of pride. Your team. Your logo. It's a slap in the face of all those that came before you to not respect it's meaning. You will NEVER see an MLB player with their hat backwards. It would surely result in a fine.
Outside of baseball, it's a hat. A piece of cloth to put on one's head however they see fit. I think it looks stupid having your hat facing all different directions, but we have the right to do what we want with these hats, that's freedom.
It doesn't signify poor people or those of a lesser IQ. You'll see people wearing hats like that all over. I'm sure Seano is saying that statement on a racial level, which makes me sick.
I wear hats with a large curve, when I play beer league softball, I'll wear it backwards to extent my range of vision. Test my IQ... I'm a college graduate, have good job, and I can formulate a sentence.

As a little league coach, one of my team rules is no backwards hats. I tell the kids if they hit 25 homeruns in the big leagues they can wear their hat any way they want but until then they wear them my way.I don't currently have any scientific evidence but as a general observation those who wear their caps backward tend to have a lower IQ then those who don't, unsure if the backwards hat causes the lower IQ or is a symptom of a lower IQ.

Just the "trendy" thing to do...walk around looking like "Satch".Satch was the slow one in the "Bowery Boys" movie series of years(way back) ago..he was a bit slow and that is what this reminds me of.I think it is disrectful to the game...it has come down to the point where the makers of all caps will put instruction under the bill saying..."this goes forward".I am sorry "Gentlemen" but you really a little on the slow side when you wear caps any other way besides how they were meant to be worn!!When will Yankees injured players return?
